The box background is green. The label attached to the cover has an offwhite background. All lettering is in black. Black rectangular frame surrounds a green illustration that has grasshoppers at the ends and inside a tennis court and at courtside. The tennis net is a web; a web also appears in the upper right. The game is shown being played on grass with occasional plants around.

Copy 2 includes a folding sheet with a general-purpose announcement of a // Championship "Grasshopper Tennis Tournment" //, including blank lines for adding dates, times, etc. The reverse includes examples of scoresheets and a regime for conducting a tournament with up to 50 competitors.

Tiddlywinks Targets

The dark green felt tennis court is mounted inside the box top and box bottom with a hinge between them. The court measures 11 3/4" x 26" with marked areas ("DRIVE", "ACE", "CUT SHOT", "SMASH") and fabric mesh net held up by metal spikes.
