The box is made of natural wood and has a sliding wooden cover. The sliding cover has a small (3/16") hole off center. In additional, there is a small (3/16") hole on the bottom of the box and another hole (3/8") on the side.

A label with a green/blue border is attached to the cover. "GAME OF" appears in red with a black outline and green half-shadow; "TIDDLEDY" in yellow with a black outline and shadow on a light blue scroll; a black cauldron pot with a handle is at the center of the cover (with "TRADE MARK" on its red interior); and "WINKS" appears in yellow with a black outline and shadow on a red backdrop at bottom. Winks are all about from upper right to lower left.
