The top label has a yellowish-offwhite outer border, then a red border. The bottom, most of the bottom left and right borders, and the center part of the top border then have a yellowish-offwhite line and then a red line. The upper left and upper right corners have a red filigree design over the yellowish-offwhite background.

The center illustration has a yellow background. Each of the letters of "LA PUCE" appears on a colored wink: "L" (brown) on light blue wink, "A" (brown) on white, "P" (dark) on red, "U" (light blue) on white, "C" (brown) on green, and "E" (dark) on red. In each word, the left winks are squopping the right ones in a linear fashion.

At center below, "NOUVEAU" (red) above "JEU" (brown) appear.s

Shiny turned natural wooden cup (9/16" top diameter, concave sides down to base), with a base that has a brown ring, then natural ring, then brown ring, then natural ring to the bottom (1 7/8" bottom diameter), and an unfinished underside.

The winks come in a small pink cloth bag with a pull-string.

In copy 1, the winks are made of very thin bone with very bright colors (purple, red, white, orange-red, and medium green). The squidgers are 1 3/16" in diameter: 1 of each color. The winks are 5/8" in diameter: 6 of each color.
