The cover has a yellow background.

"TIDDLY" above "WINKS" (in blue with black outline/shadow) appears in the top one-third of the cover. "FOR SIX PLAYERS" (in black) appears below.

The game target with radial sections (numbered 1, 4, 5, 3, 2, and 6) of different colors, in the red box base, fills the bottom half of the cover. The center of the target houses a dark cup.

11 winks are flying towards the cup in the center of the target from left and right.

The logo, "SPEAR'S GAMES" in an oval (in black) appears at lower left. Below: "TRADEMARK REGD. GREAT BRITAIN" over "AND CANADA" over "MADE BY J. W. SPEAR & SONS LTD." over "ENFIELD, MIDDX., ENGLAND" (all in black).

The aprons cover half of the box bottom. They all have a yellow background and continuations of the illustration from the cover, with winks on the left and right, a portion of the game target on the bottom, and just yellow on the top apron. "TIDDLYWINKS" (in blue with black outline/shadow) appears on each apron.

The aprons on the box bottom are orange/red, empty.

The cardboard game target in the box bottom has radial sectors (marked 1, 6, 2, 3, 5, 4) on varying colored backgrounds.

A black plastic cup (1 3/4" top diameter, 1 1/4" bottom diameter, 1 1/2" tall) with concave sides sits in a hole at its center.

Plastic, small burr.

Copy 1 has the following:

Squidgers (7/8"): 1 green, 1 yellow, 1 white, 1 pale blue, 1 red, 1 pale purple.

Winks (5/8"): 4 green, 3 yellow, 4 white, 3 pale blue, 4 red, 3 pale purple.

Copy 2 has squidgers and winks (not counted).
