Cover Description

The cover has a label with an outer light blue background. The left, right, and bottom edges have yellow filigrees with black outlines and some interior shading. The interior background is yellowish-green except for the center which has 7 light blue circles that each have smaller round spots on their circumferences.

The game title appears at top, center: "THE" (medium blue with black outline) above "HIPPODROME" (each letter is formed by two or more clown characters in mostly pale colors and polka dots). "HIPPODROME" appears on a red rectangular background with a black borner, then yellow border, then black border. "THE" appears over the light blue box background at top, plus the top yellow bordera and the top part of the red rectangle.

At left is an elephant with gray and yellow tusks, with its front feet on a small ladder. Standard on its shoulder and trunk is a man (black tailed jacket and pants and white shirt). To right is another elephant with a light purple sash around its neck, and to left another elephant.

At center is a raised platform with a ringmaster (black jacket with tails, black pants, black top hat, and mustache) cracking a whip. To his right is a clown (white baggy pants with red polka dots, red top. To his right is a white horse with a ballerina (short pink dress) standing on its back and head, with a shorter whip.

Behind the raised platform to left and right are round stands (with a red, white, and blue shield) on which clowns are perched, each holding a large white disc.

At the right is a clown (baggy red polka dot and white pants, greet top; red/yellow shirt sleeves, tiny black top hat), holding a stick that has 4 balloons of multiple colors attached by strings.

At front center are a crying face, a pot with a small palm tree, and a smiling face.

At bottom left is "PUBLISHED BY EDGAR O. CLARK" over "SUCCESSOR TO" over "CLARK & SOWDON" on an upward curve, over "NEW YORK".

At lower right is the logo, "TOKALON SERIES", above "TRADE MARK".
