The cover has a white outer border, then a black outline that frames the main cover art.

The top quarter of the cover has a dark purple background. The title, "TARGET TIDLEY" (yellow with black outline), begins over the dark purple background at top, and at an angle upward to the right.

Below the dark purple background is a green background. The title continues with "WINKS" (yellow with black outline) below "TARGET TIDLEY" over both colored backgrounds.

At left center is a depiction of the concentric game target from the box, with a cup in its center. The target sits inside the red box bottom.

A hand emerges from the lower right, holding a red squidger on a yellow wink, aimed at the game target. Ten additional winks appear on the green playing surface.

Below "WINKS" appears the following statement: "This set" above "may also be used for" above "Ordinary" above "TIDLEY WINKS" above "by using the wooden" above "cup only." (all in black).

1. Cylindrical wooden cup (1 3/4" top diameter, 1 1/2" bottom diameter, 1 1/2" tall), natural finish, with 2 recessed rings near bottom.

2. Cardboard target in box bottom with concentric circles marked 1 and 2.

Large (7/8"): 1 yellow, 1 green, 1 red, 1 white.

Small (5/8"): 3 yellow, 3 green, 3 red, 3 white.
