Four battleships are shown on the blue water below, with their turrets sticking up over the blue sky and clouds. The one at left is closest, and the remainder are in a line to the right, each receding further from the one nearby to the left. A few white waves appear around each ship.

The top edge from upper left to upper right shows a sandy beach, with a few black rocks on the sand at upper left and a white gull nearby at left; and a small boat and 3 white/blue tents or chairs at upper right.

The bottom edge from lower left to lower right shows another sandy beach, with a single rock near brown/red cliffs, and two white gulls nearby over the water; and several rocks and a palm tree near red/bown cliffs at lower right.

Between the top and bottom of the board are 3 gradations of blue. Across the center is a solid blue rectangle that takes up about half of the cover. Below and above it is a lighter blue, and outside of that, a slightly lighter blue reaching the sandy shores at top and bottom.

Each of the 2 players has an assortment of thin cardboard ships (black ink on gray paper) forming a fleet: 6 destoyers, 1 battleship, 1 cruiser, and 1 aircraft carrier.

Each player has 1 large "Battle Wink" (7/8" in diameter) that serves as the squidger to shoot the 3 smaller winks (5/8" in diameter) from a felt "firing platform" (1 7/8" square). One player has yellow winks, the other, white. The objective to to shoot a wink to land over any part of the enemy's cardboard ships, when it is removed from play and used for scoring.
