"1891" is printed incorrectly with a backwards 9. The numbers on the felt mat do not have extra curly tops; the mat has no dental design on its red borders.

The cylindrical glossy black-painted wooden cup (1 3/4" top diameter, 1 3/8" bottom diameter, 1 1/2" tall) has a concave sides and a two-tier protruding base.

The playing surface is a dark yellow felt pad (8 1/2" x 16 3/8") marked "HOP SCOTCH" at top. It has a red border with no other markings. A filled-in red circle (inside a black circle) is marked at bottom, indicating the starting point for shooting a wink. The mat is marked in areas as 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 in a hop scotch layout, from bottom to top. The numbers on the felt mat do not have extra curly tops; they are also typical width for this title; for example, the widest part of the "8" is 1/2" wide.
