This version has a 6 1/4" by 6 3/8" by 1 1/8" blue (or faded to white) box; square wooden target; and the cover depicts a man (black suit, shooting) and woman (left hand to head), both sitting at a table with a green tablecloth, and a man (white beard, glasses) and another man (smoking pipe) sitting at rear.

Label with white outer background. "TABLE QUOITS" appears at top, on a curve concave down, in yellow with red then black outlines.

Below "QUOITS", "FOR" above "ANY NUMBER" above "OF PLAYERS" appears in white on a red banner.

Below "TABLE" is an older man (balding, gray hair and beard, glasses, blue site) behind a younger man (black hair, black suit and vest, white shirt, dark tie) holding a red squidger. To his right, behind the woman, is a man (mustache, smoking a cigarette, in blue suit), and then a woman (brown hair, up, blue outfit, with elbow on table and hand to face).

These people are at a table with a green shooting surface over a blue tablecloth. At center on it is an enlarged round target with 3 concentric rings, along which nails are attached and some of the quoit winks are on or over.

At lower left, "BRITISH" is above "MANUFACTURE", in white.

At lower right, "By Royal Letters Patent." is shown in red on a yellow banner.

The target has a square (5 3/8" by 5 3/4" by 1/2") natural wooden base onto which a round white label is attached, with "20" at center, "PATENT No." above it in a curve and "22446" on a curve below, in black.

There are three concentric black rings around it, with metal nails along their circumference and also at center with the "20" marking. The outer ring has nails into the board with markings of 8, 5, 11, 6, 8, 5, 11, 6, 8, 5, 11, and 8. The center ring has nails by markings of 7, 6, 5, 1, 6, 5, 1, 6, 5. The inner ring has nails by markings of 2, 2, 2, 2.

1 solid bone squidger disc (1 1/8" in diameter) and 3 quoit (ring) winks (3/4" outer diameter, 3/8" inner diameter) are provided each for red and white. (Another edition has red and green squidgers and quoits, and the quoits measure 5/8" outer diameter and 1/2" inner diameter)

Square natural wood with white circular target label attached. Nails stick up all over board, each with a numeric value: 20 at center, and 2, 5-8, 11.
