The box bottom is used as part of the target. It has 5 holes in it, each with a metal "collar" through it from the bottom. The metal collars measure 3/8" in diameter except on one end, which is 5/8" in diameter and under the bottom of the box. The box bottom has a shorter lower apron, measuring 3/4" high. 3 of the metal collars are in a line near the short apron, and behind it are the other 2.
5 white plastic cylindrical rods (1 1/2" long, 5/16" long) are inserted into the 5 metal collars.
5 white plastic cylindrical rods (3/4" long, 5/16" long), called skittles, with one end rounded with 3 recessed circles near that end, are placed on top of the longer white pieces.
The winks, called "pellets" (1/2" in bottom diameter, and about 1/4" tall) are round at bottom where they are concave. On top, they curve up to an oval area that is mostly open on the short ends and inside. 2 pellets are provided in each of red, white, and blue.
The squidger is a wooden stick with a golden metal ring near the tip, and have a white plastic stylus attached at the tip.
A rectangular clear glass plate (3 1/2" wide, 3" deep, and 1/4" tall) is used as the shooting surface for the winks. The wooden stick is applied to a pellet on the glass plate to shoot them at the target, aiming to knock off the skittles.
