The game comes in a small box with a red underlabel; "Tidley" above "Winks" (orange to red letters) on blue background with red "T"-shaped border; rules are on sheets.

"Tidley" appears above "Winks", each letter in yellow at top and red at bottom, with a black outline.

The title is on a dull light blue background that is within a red border with indents at the level of "Winks"; the red border has a black outline on both the inside and outside.

Behind the title at top, the background is yellow; the bottom background is a dull green as the playing surface.

The logo, ""THE" above "CV" above "SERIES" (green in black circle) appears at lower left.

A tan cup is shown to the right of the logo, with a blue wink entering the cup. A hand appears at lower right. 14 additional winks are on the green surface. Label has outer black line border.

The red matte wooden, lathe-turned cup measures 1 5/8" in diameter at top, 1 5/8" at bottom, 1 3/8" tall, and has concave sides and a base that is 1/4" wider than the side above it.

Copy 1 includes:

Squidgers (13/16" diameter, bone): dull yellow, faded/eroded blue, dark red.

Winks (17/32" diameter, bone): 4 offwhite, 4 deep blue, 3 bright red.

Wink (9/16" diameter, bone): 1 bright red.

A nonoriginal white piece, (5/8" diameter, 7/32" thick, perhaps ceramic) is also included.
