"LES CROCHETS ENDIABLÉS" appears in red on a curved white banner at top. Leaf filigrees are shown to the left and right of banner. Below is "NOUVEAU JEU DE PUCES" in black.

Center background is a circle with yellow at top becoming orange at the bottom. Outer periphery is light blue at top, light brown at lower right, and white at lower left.

Main illustration has an oval table with a greenish blue tablecloth. At center is a depiction of the target from the game, with 4 of the upright targets forming a cube with no top. Each target has 9 hooks onto which to shoot the quoit winks. (The game comes with one such target.). At the back of the table is a gentleman in a black suit with a very large white tie; his hair is sticking horizontally out in front of him. A man in light green is to his right, leaning with one arm to waist. To right is a clown with duncecap throwing a series of quoits in the air toward the target. Below is another clown with duncecap holding an orange round disc that's torn over another clown's head to his left. At lower left are two people, one with a yellow skullcap and the one on right with a light blue one, who is kneeling. Above them is another clown with a duncecap looking at the gentleman at center.

Cardboard target ( 5 3/4" by 5 3/4") with easel on back to stand it at an angle. Background of target is red. Target side has a label with 9 circle targets, each with a metal hook at its top. Top row of target has target circle values of 1, 50, and 5. Second row has target circle values of 100, 500, and 200. Third and bottom row has target circle values of 10, 75, and 25.

Game comes with 27 brass-colored metal rings, each 5/8" in diameter.
