The top label on the cover has a white outer border, then a black line. The background in the top three-quarters is blue. The bottom portion has a red background, representing a tablecloth.

The logo, "The CHAD VALLEY Games" over "REGD. TRADE MARK" in a banner border with concave corners (all in black) appears at upper left.

"HARBORNE, ENGLAND" (in black) appears at upper right.

The title, "RING-O-" above "WINKS" (in white rounded letters with a black outline) is shown over the blue background at top.

Below are three children at a red table playing the game. The girl at left (black hair, yellow very short-sleeved outfit with a flower design in black) is holding a blue squidger in her right hand on the table. To her right is a boy (or girl) (yellow hair, green long-sleeved top) leaning on the table with right hand on cheek. At right is a girl (orange hair, light blue very short-sleeved top with white spots) is holding a green squidger with her right hand.

The game target is attached on top of a box-bottom build-up. It consists of a 3 by 3 array of squares, as follows: row 1 is green, red, green; row 2 is blue, yellow, red; row 3 is red, green, blue. A white cardboard overlay of an array of 3 by 3 cutouts sits over these squares to provide round targets with the cited colors.

According to the rules, each wink landing fully in a yellow circle scores 10; green, 5; red, 3; and blue, 1.

Squidgers (7/8" diameter, quality plastic, shiny, no burrs): 1 red, 1 green, 1 yellow, 1 dark blue.

Winks (5/8" diameter, quality plastic, shiny, no burrs): 2 red, 2 lighter green, 2 yellow, 2 dark blue.
