Cover Description

A monochrome illustration appears on the cover.

"HORSMAN's" is shown in the upper left of the cover, with a very tall "H". "TRADE" above "MARK" appears at left center.

"TIDDLEDY WINK TENNIS" is shown at the bottom, with a very tall first "T". On a banner below that, in smaller characters, the following appears: "AND TIDDLEDY WINKS COMBINED."

"PATENTED DEC. 9TH, 1890." appears below that at left and "COPYRIGHTED BY E. I. HORSMAN JR. 1890" at right.

The cover illustrates a scene of people playing tiddlywinks at a table. The table sits at the center with a felt tennis mat and net from the game on top. At left, a man (wearing a black suit and sporting a mustache) holds a round shooter with his right hand, and is leaning it on the edge of the table. To the right a woman (wearing an outfit with a light sash around neck) is looking on with her hands under the table. In the right rear corner, another man (wearing a dark suit, light shirt, and bowtie, and sporting a mustache) is looking on. On the right another woman (wearing an outfit with a V-neck top) is holding a light-colored shooter on the mat.
