"IMPROVED GAME" appears at top above "TIDDLEDY" (each letter in a circle, letters at different angles, with decorative filigrees between circles), which is above "PATENT PENDING", above "WINKS" (background color, on golden banner), above "McLOUGHLIN BROS., NEW YORK." Decorative filigrees appear in each corner.

Copy 1 includes the following:

6 thick pads for shooting (4 1/2" by 3 3/4" by 1/8" thick): 2 of brown on both sides, 2 of red of both sides, and 2 of light blue of both sides.

Shiny brown natural finish wooden cup (1 3/4" top diameter, 1 1/2" bottom diameter, 1 1/4" tall).

One small bone or similar wink (5/8" diameter): offwhite.

Various cardboard winks (3/4" diameter): white, red, blue.

The inside box bottom has a large compartment for the felt pads, a smaller compartment for the wooden cup, and an even smaller compartment for the winks. The inside of each compartment has a bright blue label.
