"RULES FOR PLAYING
the game of
RING THE PIN"
RULES FOR PLAYING
the game of
RING THE PIN
PARKER BROTHERS, Inc., Salem, Mass., New York and London
For Two, Three or Four Players
PLACE THE BOARD in the centre of the table and the felt piece about eight inches in front of it.
EACH PLAYER then selects one bone square and two rings of the same color.
The idea of the game is to jump the rings one at a time from the felt so that they will catch in the hooks of the highest denomination possible.
TO JUMP THE RING press its edge with the bone square.
Play in turn, each player snapping his two rings once, before losing his turn. Every ring hooked during a player’s turn should remain on the hook until the end of the game. Thus, a player hooking one ring on a single turn would have one ring to play on his next turn.
THE GAME ENDS when a player has succeeded in hooking both his rings and the one scoring the highest number of points as shown below each hook WINS THE GAME.
Should the first player ring out first, the others would, of course, be allowed to finish out their turn. Should No. 2 finish first, No. 3 or No. 4 should be allowed to finish out their turn and if No. 3 were first, No. 4 would be allowed to finish out his turn.
