The circular target (blue outer ring, then wider green and yellow rings, and red circle at center) is shown at left, with multiple nails around the rings, some with quoits over them. Fingers at lower right shooting a green quoit with a blue squidger.

Above the finger is the logo, "Glevum" (black), a left-facing red Roman helmet profile, and "Games" (black) on a white oval.

Below that is "MADE IN ENGLAND BY ROBERTS OF GLOUCESTER" (black).

At lower left, "FOR ANY NUMBER OF PLAYERS" is shown in red.

Round particle-board target, 4 3/4" in diameter, 1/2" tall base, 7/8" tall counting nails. Top has concentric circles with center in red circle marked 20; others are yellow and green, with numbers aligned to nails, from 2 to 11. There is an additional thin light blue ring on the outside, without target markings.

Copy 1 includes:

Squidger (1" diameter, plastic, no burrs but somewhat cheap): 1 yellow, 1 medium blue.

Quoits (13/16" diameter, plastic, polygonal circumference, one burr, "MADE IN ENGLAND" in raised letters on one side): 1 bright yellow, 1 dull yellow, 2 light green.
