The title, "Ding" over "Dong" over "Bell" (blue rounded letters with black outline) appears at top center over the blue background. A bird (gray with red bill) is sitting on top of the "g" in "Dong".

The blue sky background fills most of the top half of the cover.

The cover shows a boy (blue/white sheer stocking, red outfit with long sleeves but very short pants, black shoes, dark hair) pulling a rope to ring a bell that is attached to a wooden bar at its top. A girl (yellow dress, blue shoes, blue belt, blue scarf) is leaning into the stone well below the bell. Rolling green hills appear behind the well and bell platform.

"MADE AT HARBORNE, ENGLAND" is shown inside a rounded rectangle at lower right.

The two short aprons have "Ding Dong Bell" (yellow with letters in different angles) on an offwhite background.

The "well" target is simply a round hole (4" in diameter) in the box-bottom build-up's blue cardboard surface.

Four black cat silhouettes (1 1/2" maximum wide and high on cardboard) are mounted on natural wooden rectangular stands (3/4" long, 1/2" wide, and 5/16" tall). These are placed around the well as targets to be knocked into the well by the winks.

Copy 1 includes:

Squidgers (3/4" in diameter, quality plastic, shiny, with no burrs) (called a "Flipper"): 1 dark blue, 1 red, 1 dark green, 1 slightly dull yellow.

Winks (1/2" diameter, bone, not very shiny): 3 blue, 3 bright red, 3 bright green, 3 bright yellow).
