The cover illustration depicts a scene with wildlife on yellow ground with brown ground cover in the foreground and a few trees in the background. The sky is also yellow. At left is a giraffe, with two zebra to the right of it. In the foreground filling most of the right half of the cover is a lion with mouth open, looking left. Between these animals in the background are other animals running or standing.

The title, "Safari" over "Tiddlywinks" (in red) appears at upper left.

The logo, "INGHAM DAY" (in black in a white rectangle) appears at upper right.

At the bottom of the cover, overlaid on the wildlife scene, a hand appears in the lower left corner, holding a red squidger on a green mat, having just shot a red wink, which is shown via streaking lines to have been propeled to the game target with animal segments, which is shown at lower right.

All four aprons have a red background with "Safari" above "Tiddlywinks" (in white) at left, and the "INGHAM DAY" (in black) logo on a white rectangle at right.

The cardboard box bottom build-up acts as the game target, with 8 compartments, each showing an animal on a colored background, plus a center circular area. A plastic overlay on top of the cardboard delineates the target segments. The center circular area is green and has two green half-circles separated by a red line; both have "ENCLOSURE" across the center and "WILD LIFE" around the curve. One side shows an elephant, and the other a giraffe. The plastic overlay treats this center circle as one target area.

The target areas around the center are separated by radiating lines to the outside edges of the square box. The following areas are shown: lion on pinkish-purple background, monkey on orange, rhinoceros on green, elephant on pink, giraffe on blue, zebra on yellow, tiger on red, and antelope on purple. No numbers are shown in these areas.

One copy of this game contains the following plastic injection-molded squidgers and winks:

Squidger (1" in diameter): 1 green.

Squidger (5/8" by 1 1/16" ractangle with rounded corners): 1 yellow.

Winks (5/8"): 7 green, 11 red, 7 blue, 6 yellow (of multiple tones).
