Tidley Winks (G-37840) by Hausser Spiele and Tidley Winks (G-38416) by Hausser Spiele have the same cover illustration, while (G-38416) is in a smaller box, has a square diamond OMHL logo (at lower right) and has an orange cloud-shaped frame and orange dots in an oval. (G-37840) has them in red and sports no logo.

The top label on the cover has an offwhite outer border, with the next inner border of pale blue repeating semicircles, with dots between them. Inside that border is a rectangular offwhite thin border, and then a light blue solid rectangle formed by curved light blue corners.

Inside those curved light blue corners is an oval surrounding the center of the cover, consisting of many repeating orange spots. Inside that oval of orange spots is a yellow background with a green playing surface depicted at the bottom. In the top part of the yellow background is a cloud-like shape with an orange outline inside that has an offwhite background inside it with a 4-petal black flower-like graphic that appears above "TIDLEY WINKS" in light blue above a black gull-styled flattened "V" then another 4-petal black flower-like graphic and then another black gull-styled flattened "V".

Below that cloud-like orange outline is a hand at right, with a green-blue sleeve on the arm and a bit of a white shirt cuff. The arm is holding a red squidger against a yellow wink. The illustration depicts a series of winks rising from the yellow wink, up into the air and into the black cup at lower right, which has a top diameter that is wider than the top, along with a concave side.
