The top label has an overall yellowish-offwhite background and a border with a repeating dental element in dark blue on offwhite. The overall background of the cover is yellow.

Inside, an additional frame border of multiple thin blue lines appears, and then the background color, and then a single blue line frame. Inside that frame in each of the top-left, top-right, and bottom-left corners is a triangle with a curve for its hypotenuse; inside are vertical blue lines plus dark blue elements shaped like fingers. The bottom-right corner has the hypotenuse curve but no illustration inside; instead, "COPYRIGHTED" over "1891" appears over the hypotenuse curve. Note: the "9" is not backwards on this edition.

Below is "Tiddledy Winks" (in dark blue outline and dark blue shadow outline). "PATENT APPLIED FOR" appears to the right of it in dark blue.

At left at a table with a decorative tablecloth (dark blue borders and highlights) and hop-scotch mat on top are 5 adults (all in dark blue ink): 1 man at left with mustache, seated; 1 women facing away with dress, seated, 1 man standing with mustache, 1 woman sitting with dress, and 1 woman looking straight ahead to right of table, in dress.

At right, on the floor, are 3 children playing at hop scotch mat: 1 boy with a frilly neck, 1 girl in light clothes and frilly neck, and 1 girl with frilly neck.
