The top label has a white outer border then a black line framing the main cover art.

The top one-quarter has an orange background with "LADDERWINKS" (in yellow with right shadow in black) over it.

The remainder of the cover below has a pale yellow background.

A hand emerges from the upper right corner (over the orange background), holding a pale blue squidger on a yellow with with 3 white dots on a green shooting pad on the yellow background. Adjacent to the green shooting pad is a plain pale blue wink, an orange wink with 6 white dots, and a green wink with 5 white dots.

The wink is aimed at the game target, which consists of a ladder of 4 colored sticks (pale blue, yellow, green, and orange, from right to left), connected each with 2 round numbered pieces (1, 2, and 3, from right to left) where they meet the cup (gray with a red ring at top, with a yellow wink falling in) at lower left.

At lower right over the yellow background: "MADE IN ENGLAND" over "CHIPS FOREIGN" (in black).

The cardboard game target consists of a ladder of 4 colored sticks (pale blue, yellow, green, and orange), connected each with 2 round numbered pieces (1, 2, and 3) where they meet the hole with the natural wooden cup (1 3/4" top diameter, 1 1/2" bottom diameter, 1 1/2" tall), which has straight but angled sides and a shiny finish except on the bottom.
