The game board label is attached onto a thick, rigid cardboard backing whose red edges show outside the game board; the back of the game board has a Snakes and Ladders game board. The bifold game board is square when opened.

Similar cover and board as Golf Tiddley Winks (G-30358) by Chad Valley Games (with no company name on board, and no game on reverse of game board) and Golf TIddlywinks (G-38161) by Past Times (later reprint by another company); this game has the company name on the other side of the game board that is a Snakes & Ladders board.

The bifold cardboard game board measures 14 1/4" wide, 14 1/8" high, and 1/16" thick. It depicts a golf course with 16 holes, 3 bunkers, 3 lakes, 1 clubhouse, and a cart path with a 1920's/1930's open air car. The overall coloring of the game board is light green, yellow, blue, orange, plus flesh-colored for the cart path.

The underlabel is red.

One side of the game board has a label over the cardboard while leaving a small portion of the red underlabel visible around the edges. The "GOLF TIDDLEY WINKS" (red with black outline) title appears at top center. At lower left is the "START" tee, with a man (brown jacket, light green knickers, long black socks, red shoes, gray cap) holding a club there.

16 greens appear on the game board, with "1" at center, "2" at upper left, etc., without an obvious connection between consecutive holes. Each golf green is light green with a numbered (from 1 through 16) white circle and a black line upwards with a red flag, serving as the pin for the golf hole.

The main cart path goes from near the lower right (above green "5") to the left, zigzagging around the clubhouse at left just below center. A car (not a cart) appears on the path just above green "5" and below greens "7" and "11".

The other side of the game board has a Snakes and Ladders board with a 10 by 10 array of square cells of various colors. The "1" square (on blue) appears at lower left, and the numbers ascend from left to right, so the lower right corner is marked "10". "11" starts above the "10" at right, and then numbers ascend from right to left, so "20" appears on the left. This alternating pattern proceeds upward until the top left cell, which is marked "100" on red.

Various ladders between cells and snakes appear over the game board cells.

At lower left in cell "1" is "THE CHAD VALLEY GAMES".

At lower right in cell "10" is "MADE AT HARBORNE, ENGLAND".
