The bifold game board measures 17" wide by 16 1/2 high when open.
The title appears in the upper left as "GO ON" over "OR THE RUN", and continues at upper right as "FOR THE STAKE".
The board has a sequence of circular positions for movers that are numbered from 1 to 99 in a helix starting at lower left and ending in the middle, where there is the number 100 and a boy (brown pants, blue jacket, white shirt, red tie) waving his yellow hat, with a large horseshoe around the boy and the 100.
At lower right-of-center is "COPYRIGHT JAN. 1884."
