The date 1891 is incorrectly printed with a backwards 9 on the cover. The felt mat has a dental design on its red borders, plus the numbers on the felt mat do not have extra curly tops. The rules sheet has 1 side. The yellow underbox has a fleur de lis design.

Cylindrical natural wooden cup with top (2 5/8" diameter, 1 5/8" tall). Off-yellow felt pad (8 5/8" x 16 3/4") marked "HOP SCOTCH" at top. Red border with dental-like pattern. Red circle at bottom for starting wink. Areas marked 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 in hop scotch layout. The numbers do not have extra curly tops.
