"Table Golf"
Table Golf.
PLAYED ON AN ORDINARY DINING TABLE.
There are six cups or holes. Place these in any convenient position, as suggested on the other side—the farther apart the better— the numbers to be consecutive.
The object is to play the small counter into the holes by pressing on the edge with the larger one.
The game is eighteen holes, or three times round.
The game commences by each side playing off from the right side of the sixth hole to the first hole, and so on all round, always playing from the right side of the hole just completed to the next one.
When Scoring by Holes, each side play alternately.
The hole is won by the side holding at fewest strokes; if each side hole in the same number of strokes it is halved, and counts nothing.
The match is won by the side which wins one or more holes in excess of the number of holes remaining to be played.
When Scoring by Strokes, the side having the lead complete the first hole and score the number of strokes played; the other side then play in the same manner; the side holing in fewest strokes lead for the next hole; the side completing the round of 18 holes in fewest strokes win.
If a player send [sic, should be: sends] the disc off the table it is replaced one inch on the table where it went off, the player losing a stroke.
Hazards and Bunkers may be introduced by placing obstacles between the holes.
