Other Spear games use a Dutch wooden clog shoe as a target receptacle.

The cover label has a white outer border, and then a black inner outline. The main cover illustration appears within that outline and border.

The background in the top half is mostly blue, with a four-bladed white and blue windmill shown at center, in the background. The title, "Dutch" over "Tidley Winks" (at an angle upward to the right) (all white with a black shadow down and also to the right) is overlaid on the blue background at top with the windmill.

Across the center is a 1/4" black horizontal line. This line extends from the left to about 2/3rd across to the right until it reaches the following hand illustration.

A hand appears, emerging from the right, with a black coat sleeve shown at right above center, with a glimpse of a white shirt sleeve shown outside the black coat sleeve, and then a hand shown just right of center, holding a blue squidger on a white wink, below center and just to the right.

The bottom half of the cover has a red background. The hand described above shooting with a blue squidger on a white wink is shown over the red background. To the left is a depiction of a natural wooden Dutch clog shoe, which is used as a target in this game. One wink (small pale blue) is shown within the Dutch shoe clog. Two larger white winks are shown above over the red background, plus a larger light blue wink just to the right of the wooden shoe target.

At lower right, the text "REGISTERED IN" (in black) appears, with the oval logo "SPEAR'S [GAMES ... missing top label]. Below, "MANUFACTURED AT THE" appears and then there's more of the missing top label.
