Countries
May be Played by a Large Number of Persons
Divide the cards among the players as evenly as possible. The first player, without permitting the others to see the title of his first card, reads one of the descriptive paragraphs and designates the player who is to guess the title. If the player designated cannot do so, the reader in like manner reads the second paragraph for second player to guess, and so on until some player guesses the topic and takes the card. The other cards are disposed of in like manner when the player who holds the most cards wins the game. It is unfair for any player to speak unless called on by the leader.
If preferred, one player may be selected to hold all the cards, reading them aloud, the others answering; each card being given to the first person who can guess its title.
Deck consists of 44 cards (numbered C-1 to C-44), each card with a country or place listed at the top and some descriptions of the country or place below.
