The target has a round (6 3/8" upper diameter, 7 1/2" bottom diameter) shiny green painted wooden base top onto which a round white label is attached, with "20" at center, "PATENT No." above it in a curve and "22446" on a curve below, in black

There are four concentric black circles around it, with metal nails along their circumference and also at center with the "20" marking. The outer circle has nails into the board with markings of 13, 6, 10, 3, 13, 6, 10, 3, 13, 6, 10, 3, 13, 6, 10, 2, 13, 6. The next circle in has markings of 8, 5, 11, 6, 8, 5, 11, 6, 8, 5, 11, and 8. The next circle in has nails by markings of 7, 6, 5, 1, 6, 5, 1, 6, 5. The inner circle has nails by markings of 2, 2, 2, 2.
