The background is yellow at top; there is a two-tone blue hatch at left and upper right. The target (from box) takes up most of the cover, depicted at an angle below to the lower right corner. 12 winks are shown in the target on the cover. The target wraps onto the apron below.

"knips" appears at top in red on the yellow background, above "das neue Flohspiel" in black over both backgrounds below.

A hand emerges from upper left holding a purple squidger on a purple wink, with 3 other winks (red, yellow white) nearby.

1 plastic squidger (7/8" diameter) and 5 winks (5/8" diameter), with nibs, are included in the following colors: white, medium blue, yellow, green, red, and black. An 11/16" darker green has been substituted for a 5/8" green in copy 1.
