The wraparound label has a red background at top with white horizontal stripes. At bottom is a dark blue background with six winks: yellow, red, green, light blue, red, and yellow (left to right). The red background has an angled border (from lower left to upper right) with the dark blue background below.

At center, on an angled off-white rectangle at center, is the title: "TIDLEY" (in blue) over "WINKS" (in red). This angled rectangle itself has a 3D "shadow" of blue to the right at top and red to the right and bottom.

"CHAD VALLEY" appears at lower left on the red shadow, and "MADE IN ENGLAND" at lower right.

The game has a square cardboard target that fits into the box bottom, with a 1 3/4" hole at center for the cup. The target consists of 8 radial sector compartments, marked: "5" (in white) on blue, "2" (in blue) on red, "3" (in white) on green, "6" (in red) on yellow, "4" (in white) on blue, "8" (in blue) on red, "1" (in white) on green, and "7" (in red) on yellow). The circular border around the hole for the cup has different colors than the adjacent radial sectors. The four colors have black triangles.

Black cylindrical cup (1 11/16" diameter at top, then a 1 5/8" protruding ring below it, then 1 11/16" diameter at the rilled sides. "INS" over "16" is marked inside the bottom of the cup.

Copy 1 includes:

Squidgers (1" diameter, plastic, medium quality, no burrs): 1 dull yellow, 1 red, and 1 medium blue.

Winks (21/32" diameter, quality plastic, no burrs): 4 slightly dull yellow, 2 dark blue, and 4 green.

Winks (19/32" diameter, quality plastic, no burrs): 4 red, 2 dark blue, 1 brighter yellow.
