HOW TO PLAY GIANT TIDDLEY WINKS
The game is for two, three or four players. First set the box base with its target and bowl on the floor or a table. Each player chooses a large counter and four small counters of the same colour. Using the large counter to flip the small counters the players take turns to shoot at the target. If a counter lands on a coloured section the player scores the number shown in that section. If a counter goes into the bowl the player scores 50. Should a counter fall, or bounce, outside the target, it must be left where it falls and the next player takes his turn. When it comes round to the turn of the player who missed, he must first shoot that counter from the position where it fell. The game ends as soon as one player has got all four counters in the target. The scores are then added up and the highest score wins the game.

The game target consists of two parts: a numbered target that is a box build-up that is integrally attached to the box bottom, and a large round bowl.
The numbered target measures 9" square by 1 3/4" tall, and has a 4 1/2" wide circular hole at center. Directly outside the hole is a 4-pointed blue star with "15" (in white) marked in the middle of each point. Outside the blue star are 4 segments (which form a square other than where the blue star appears) with "25" (in red) on a yellow background. The remaining four sides each have two extended triangles (which result in defining an outer square), one "10" (in black) on a red area and "5" (blue) on a black area on each side.
The pale yellow plastic bowl measures 4 7/8" top diameter, 3" bottom diameter, 1 1/2" tall, with an extended top lip and generally flat sides that narrow from top to bottom. It is marked "MADE IN ENGLAND" and "No 1018" on the bottom.
This game contains the following injection-molded squidgers and winks with burrs:
