"TIDLEYWINKS" (in red with white then black outline, then spotty gray shadow) appears on an uneven baseline across the top green background. The green background occupies approximately 1/3 of the top portion of the cover, and curves down to the lower right corner. A red background appears below the green background, separated by a black line.

A poodle appears at left, standing on its hind legs on the red background, with black hair on head and tail, brown otherwise, and wearing a fluffy ringed cloth around neck. The poodle is holding a blue cup it its mouth. The poodle is casting a shadow over the red and green backgrounds.

A clown is shown at right shooting winks, wearing a black skullcap and white outfit, with big dark blue balls on sleeves and front, and frilly collar. The clown is also casting a shadow.

A very dark brown compression-molded cup (1 9/16" top and minimum diameter, 2" bottom diameter, with concave sides), marked on the bottom: "CHAD VALLEY" around top, "REG. DES." below, "TIDLEYWINKS" across center, "5051" below, "MADE AT" below, and "HARBORNE ENGLAND" around the bottom.

Copy 2 includes:

A tall natural wooden cup (1 3/4" top diameter, concave sides with a 1 3/8" minimum diameter, 1 7/8" bottom diameter, 2 1/8" tall) with a protruding base that has two rings. The cup has a shiny finish on the sides but not on the bottom or inside.

Copy 3 includes:

A cheaply made injection-molded yellow plastic cup (1 3/4" top diameter, convex sides from top to middle, then 2 grooved rings, then concave sides to bottom, 1" bottom diameter) that is most likely not original to the game.

Copy 1 includes:

Squidgers (1" diameter, quality plastic, no burrs): 1 coral, 1 yellow, 1 teal, 1 gray.

Winks (5/8" diameter, quality plastic, no burrs): 2 coral, 2 yellow, 2 teal, 2 gray.

Copy 2 includes:

Squidgers (1 1/4" diameter, bone): 1 deep purple, 1 red, 1 eroded/faded green.

Squidger (1 1/8" diameter, bone): 1 offwhite.

Winks (5/8" diameter, bone): 4 offwhite, 4 eroded/faded green.
