The Witch’s Cauldron.
The little wooden legs are fitted into the holes of the ball, the tripod thus adjusted placed in the centre of the table and the little pot then hung in position.
Each player attempts in turn to flip his small counters, all of the same colour, into the little pot and the one who first succeeds in doing so, wins the game. To flip the counters, the large counter is pressed upon the edge of the smaller ones, whereby the smaller counters spring into the air. A table covered with a fairly thick cloth is recommended, since the counters will spring very much better.
Care should be taken that, where a counter does not spring into the pot, the next player takes his turn, and the counter of his predecessor remains exactly where it fell and at the next turn must be flipped from that spot. If a player succeeds in flipping a counter into the cauldron, he may have another turn and accordingly flips another counter.
Should it happen that during the play a counter covers a rival colour, them the counter underneath is regarded as a prisoner until such time as the upper counter chooses to move forward, when the lower counter is then set free.
This is only one of the many ways the game can be played, various other methods may be introduced.

The 3 tripod legs are blue painted rods of wood with a round top (7 1/2" long, 1/4" main rod diameter, 1/2" round end diameter). They attach to a larger blue painted ball (1 1 /2" diameter) that has 3 holes for the rods plus a small hook (3/16" diameter) at their center. Another metal piece (1 5/8" long with closed hook at bottom and open hook at top) is to be attached to the small hook on the blue painted ball.
The game comes with a shiny black painted wooden cauldron cup (1 3/8" diameter at top, 1 1/8" rounded diameter at bottom, 1 5/8" tall) . A semicircle curved metal piece with inward bent elements is attached snugly to a recessed rim of this cauldron, and then hung to either the 1 5/8" metal connector or directly to the metal hook on the larger blue painted ball.
