The box top has a dark blue wraparound label with a linen texture. The cover Illustration and lettering is in silver: "Tidleywinks" with letters that narrow in height from left to right.

"CHAD VALLEY SERIES" (in dark blue) appears on a silver banner curling around the letter "T".

A cup appears at lower right with concave sides, and marked with a circle symbol with 8 "antenna" shapes radiating out. "Paisley"-like curves are shown around the cup and at lower left.

5 winks are shownn in the air, 2 above "Tidleywinks", 3 below, and 1 entering the cup.

The game includes a quality turned, shiny finished wooden cup (2 1/4" top diameter, concave sides, about 1 1/2" minimum diameter above base, 2 1/16" bottom diameter), natural in color, with 2 brown rings around the base. The cup bottom is not finished.

Copy 2 includes:

Squidgers (1 1/8" diameter, bone): 1 white, 1 faded/eroded red, 1 yellow, 1 pink or coral, 1 eroded purple, 1 eroded green.

Winks (11/16" diameter, bone): 3 dirty white, 2 bright red, 1 dirty yellow, 3 pink or coral, 4 purple.

Wink (21/32" diameter, bone): 1 purple.

Wink (5/8" diameter, cheap plastic, no burrs): 1 red.
