Four battleships are shown on the blue water below, with their turrets sticking up over the blue sky and clouds. The one at left is closest, and the remainder are in a line to the right, each receding further from the one nearby to the left. A few white waves appear around each ship.

The top edge from upper left to upper right shows a wavy sandy beach, 5 red military huts surrounded by green trees, and 4 pieces of ground military equipment facing asea fom the yellow beach; another set of 5 huts surrounded by green trees, with 3 pieces of military equipment facing asea at left of center; and around 30 red houses surrounded by trees at upper right, with a set of 4 pieces of military nearby to left, 2 on a small island, and 2 at right. A brown path connects the three housing areas.

The bottom edge from lower left to lower right shows another sandy beach. At lower left is a housing community with about 34 houses surrounded by trees, a large howitzer above. The sandy beach continues to the lower right with a brown path connecting to a community of 4 huts at lower right. Three pairs of equipment appear on the beach at center and to the left, 4 at right adjacent to the hut community, and 3 more to the left.

Between the top and bottom of the board are 2 gradations of blue. Across the center is a solid blue rectangle that takes up about half of the cover. Below and above it is a lighter blue reaching the sandy shores at top and bottom.

Each of the 2 players has an assortment of thin cardboard ships (black ink on gray paper) forming a fleet: 6 destoyers, 1 battleship, 1 cruiser, and 1 aircraft carrier.

Each player has 1 large "Battle Wink" that serves as the squidger to shoot the 3 smaller winks from a felt "firing platform" (1 7/8" square). The objective to to shoot a wink to land over any part of the enemy's cardboard ships, when it is removed from play and used for scoring.
