Painted wooden gun assembly (light green) has a rectangular base ( 4 1/4" by 1 1/2") with truncated triangular sides (2" high maximum). At the top of the triangle sides is a pivot point where the top piece with the gun pivots. That piece has a flat piece (7/8" minimum, 1 1/4" maximum wide by 4 5/8" long) on top of which is a cylindrical piece (5/8" outer diameter, 3/8" inner diameter, by 6" long) where the bullets are shot. Into one end, a wooden dowel (1/4" diameter, 4 3/4" long) with a green wooden sphere (5/8" diameter) attached to the end is inserted into the cylindrical piece and is used to shoot the bullets. A rubber band is inserted into a hole in the dowel adjacent to the green spherical end, and each of the two ends of the rubber band are pulled to snap over nails in the cylindrical piece, 1 1/2" inches from the end where the dowel is inserted. Then, the player will pull the dowel back, stretching the rubber bands, and then release it to propel the wooden bullets from the gun. Above the cylindrical piece is a square green wooden piece (2 1/2" wide by 2" tall by 3/4") with an opening at top where the bullets can be stored.
3 natural wood bullets (1 1/4" long, 3/8" diameter).
Target is attached to a separate cardboard section (13 1/4" by 10 3/4" by 1 1/4" tall) with red sides and gray insides and bottom. that is removable from the box. A gray hinge is attached to the back to permit it to stand upright. Cardboard and metal target elements are attached to a wooden base. Large spinner (8 1/2" diameter) is at left, with 12 radial compartment sectors, each colored and also with a number (green) on a black circle on the periphery: 10 - yellow, 30 - blue, 80 - red, 40 - yellow, 20 - blue, 70 - red, "DOUBLE SCORE" - yellow, 5 - blue, 60 - red, 50 - yellow, 5 - blue, "DOUBLE SCORE" - red. Underneath spinner is a circle of nails, which are engaged by a pull handle that causes the spinner to spin. To start the game, the pull handle is pulled down to be held by a metal retainer that is attached to a separate red round target to the right of the spinner. This pulls a spring that is linked to the pull lever.
The player then shoots a bullet from the gun, aiming to hit the red round target. If hit, the target will release the pull lever and the spring, causing the spinner to spin. When it comes to rest, the player gets the score indicated.
Outside the spinner, pull lever, and red round target is a cardboard insert with a green ring around the spinner, arrows (red and blue) in the two left corners, and an edge of black and blue lines with red and yellow six-pronged stars.
