To left and below is a circus tent marked "MAIN ENTRANCE" (red letters) with two flags atop. Inside tent is an audience and trapeze artist. Outside tent is a hawker (black/white checkered pants and best, red/white striped shirt, hat) at right, and uniformed money/ticket taker to his left (blue suit and cap) at white podium. Large number of people outside, most with hats and smiling.
At bottom left is the "Parker Brothers Inc." signature logo, above "SALEM, MASS., NEW YORK, LONDON" (all in black on white background). At bottom right is "Made in U.S.A." (black on white background).

Unfolded gameboard (17 3/4" by 17 3/4" by 1/8") has label for game over red background. Outer border of label is white, then blue line, then yellow general background of game board. At top is "Tom Mix" in blue, above "CIRCUS" horizontally and then "GAME" angling above to right (white with red outline). To right below is a circle with blue border and red background with black-and-white photograph of Tom Mix (cowboy hat, smiling). Below is race game progressing in an oval. "MAIN ENTRANCE" of race game is near lower left and play proceeds counterclockwise along the 26 steps in the oval, each with a different message and player command, though some are the same. Inside the oval is an illustration of rings in a circus, with a trapeze net at left, then an elephant and trainer ring, then another trapeze net, then a woman on a horse, then a ring with acrobats balanced on each other's shoulders. At center bottom of the illustration is a clown with a dog. The audience is shown at lower left. At bottom of gameboard below race game oval are illustrations of a clown, Tom Mix on a white horse, a man leading an elephant with tusks, a smaller elephant, and a woman atop a camel. At lower left of the gameboard is the "Parker Brothers Inc." signature logo, above "SALEM, MASS., NEW YORK, LONDON.".
