Directions for Playing

Frequently the hostess is put to her wit's end how to entertain a company in the evening. This Rebus game is a new one, but it's easy and entertaining.

Cut these rebus slips apart at the dotted line and distribute them among the company of players. Give each a pencil and paper and have them write at left side of sheet the numbers 1 to 48 consecutively. (If desired, the hostess can have these sheets prepared before the company comes.) As the rebus slips are passed around, each person makes a guess at the name each slip stands for (one name on the front and another on the back), and writes the name down opposite the corresponding number on his sheet of paper. After the slips have all passed around, the hostess reads aloud the following list of "Answers to Rebus Slips," and each player finds how many he has guessed correctly. Prizes may be awarded
