At top: "THE GAME OF" in dark blue small font. Below, in very large font: "TRAFFIC LIGHTS", with dots used in the letters "A" and "F".

Cover has illustration of scene, with stoplight at left (red at top, yellow below, green at bottom) on stand that is alternatingly black and white. To right is newspaper hawker with paper having "FINAL" at top and other text below. In the middle of the intersection is a classic red car with long hood over engine block and black and white grill in front. Behind to left and receding at center are pink buildings with bluish/white and sometimes reddish vertical windows.

In foreground is a hand of a person with hand on wheel with dials at left but no windshield. In front of the car is a green and black streetscape.

At lower left is "MADE IN ENGLAND" (black letters). At lower right is Glevum Games Roman helmet oval logo with TRADE MARK.

Cardboard game board (8" wide by 8 1/4" tall) is made of two pieces of rectangular cardboard plus a round cardboard wheel inside that is turned to a numbered position (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, or 8) to present a different selection of "traffic lights" (red, green, or orange/yellow) along the race course. Board has "TRAFFIC LIGHTS" (yellow with inner red outlines) at top, "MADE IN ENGLAND" (white) at lower left, and Glevum Games Roman helmet TRADE MARK logo (white) at lower right. Board background is dark blue.

Board has light blue road routes that start with either a light blue, green, orange/yellow, or red spot. Where the routes cross, there is an intersection with lights, represented by holes in the board showing the colors as selected by the numbered position of the round wheel inside. Houses and buildings and trees are shown along the various routes.

Back of game board is pink.
