The wraparound label has a medium-light blue background for most of the top, and red at the lower bottom.

The title, "MONKEY FLIPS", appears in black serifed capitals on a curve that is concave down at left and up at right near the top.

Below appears the primary cover illustration of three cartoonish monkeys, each with its right hand in the air and its left hand down across its body. The left monkey has a red cap and green tassel and blue pants, the center monkey a green/blue cap and blue tassel and yellow pants, and the right monkey a red cap and red/orange tassel and red pants. Five winks are in the air to left and right and between these monkeys.

At the bottom left of the light blue background section covering most of the upper half of the cover, "CHAD VALLEY" in black serif letters is shown, with a caricature of an elephant behind the "LL" letters. At lower right on the light blue background is "MADE IN ENGLAND".

At the bottom of the cover, on a red rectangular background, is the phrase, "TIDDLYWINKS with a DIFFERENCE!" in yellow.

The aprons continue the coloring from the cover.

The bottom apron has a red background and "MONKEY FLIPS" (in yellow serif). The top apron has a light blue background and "MONKEY FLIPS" (in white serif).

The left apron has mostly a light blue background, with green and yellow winks, then a monkey (gray with blue eyes, wearing a red cap with a tassel), then blue and red winks. The left of the apron has a small red background section.

The right apron is similar to the left except the small red background section is at the right on the apron.

Copy 1 has the following cursive handwriting in ink:

The game includes a multicolor cardboard illustration (6 1/4" x 4 7/8") of a circus scene with a large clown (red outfit, dark blue hat, yellow pom-poms on outfit) jugging 3 balls, two horses (white with gray texture and red stirrups) to left, a tent (pink and white vertical stripes) with two banners atop, a seal (gray) balancing a dark bottle in front of the tent, with a few white clouds in the blue sky above and a mostly yellow grown with some greenery below.

A metal wire frame (4 1/2" tall, 5 5/8" wide at top), shaped like an upside-down "U", is attached to two natural wood stands (1 7/8" x 7/8" horizontal, 3/8" tall).

The wood stands were originally glued inside the box bottom.

Three multicolor cardboard monkey figures hang from the wire frame as targets via yellow tabs attached to the hand held up by each monkey. Each monkey is identical except for clothing color and target number value: "10" (in light blue), "5" (in black), and "15" (in red).

Copy 1 includes:

Squidgers (1" diameter, quality plastic, no burrs): 1 slightly dark yellow, 1 green, 1 red.

Winks (5/8" diameter, quality plastic, no burrs): 4 slightly dark yellow, 4 green.

Winks (19/32" diameter, cheap plastic, burrs): 4 red.
