Version 2 comes in a dark purplish red box with silver lettering and a moire texture (not leatherette). It is not marked "British Manufacture" or "Made in England" on the cover. "Glevum" does not appear on the game. The 4 cup game target has a round white rod at center.

The wraparound label has a dark purplish red background. All lettering is in a silver color with extra serifs, and in all caps with larger initial capital. "MATCH" appears with a slight concave curve below, above an underscoring device, above a circle with a dot inside, above "TIDLEY with a slight concave curve below, above an underscoring device, above "WINKS" with a slight concave curve above.

Four cardboard scoring devices (5 5/16" wide, folded in half, 2 3/4 high) with clockface-style numbers with a rotatable metal indicator. The left square side of each is numbered from 1 to 10, and the right square side is numbered from 10 to 100 by 10. The background color of the scoring devices are green, yellow, dark blue, and red.

The compartments inside the box bottom are pale green.

Four wooden cups (2" top and bottom diameter, 1 7/8" tall, with a concave side, where the base is wider and has 2 black rings), are nailed to a square wooden base (4 1/8" square, 53/8" tall), with a round (3/4" diameter, 1 7/16" tall) white block in-between. The wooden base is painted a shiny brown. Outer portions of cups are natural wood. Inner portions of cups are red, dark green, yellow, and light blue.
