The target is printed on a gray label affixed to the bottom inside the box, consisting of a 4 by 4 array, all marked in red. The top and bottom rows have 5, 2, 2, and 5. The second and third rows have 2, 10, 10, 2. A red insert is placed into the box bottom that has a corresponding set of 4 by 4 holes for the hats to land in over the numbered target regions.

The catapult depicts a hand (in red and offwhite), 3 3/4" long by around 1 /4" wide, which is cardboard with a short wooden pivot below it.

3 paper hats for catapulting are present. Each is 1 1/2" long and with a maximum 1" diameter. The pointy end of each has a piece of brown plastic inside the paper hat. There is 1 blue hat and 2 white/pale blue hats.
