The top label has a green outer border, black line, then main illustration.

At top, "LA PUCE DOMPTÉE" appears in red with a slight yellow shadow on a background of light green that turns yellow below.

In the bottom half is a depiction of a playing surface (light blue with medium blue "V" patterns) with a light brown cup at the center and catapults to left (with a white top surface on a red triangle) and right (with a light brown top surface on a blue triangle).

4 clowns are shown, one (black outfit with white dots and black conical hat) standing at left behind a catapult, one (blue top, white pants with blue dots, no hat) diving into the cup at center, one (white outfit and hat) sitting in front of the cup, and one (green shirt, brown jacket and tie, white pants with red dots, brown hat) springing up off the catapult at right.

The rectangular (11 1/4" by 6 1/4") playing surface has a wraparound label mounted on cardboard with catapult hand figures (3 7/8" long by 1 3/8" wide, maximum), each mounted with two nails into half dowels that act as pivots on each end. One hand is mounted on a blue-filled triangle with an interior white-bordered triangle. At the other end, another hand is mounted on a red-filled triangle with an interior white-bordered triangle. Each has an additional black border on the inward sides of the triangles.

Then, inward from those triangles are shapes like a capital Sigma. And inward from those is an X-shaped area in teal, with black V shapes along with two additional black lines pointing inward from the top and also from the bottom.

The center of the target has a black-outlined circle within which is a red C-shaped area on the side of the blue triangle, and a blue C-shaped area on the side of the red triangle. Between the red and blue C shapes is another black-outlined circle with a white-filled circle inside it. A blue-outlined circle appears in that white circle. Outside the outer black-outlined circle arw two white arcs on either side.

A nonshiny natural wooden cup (1 1/2" top and bottom diameter, 1 1/16" minimum diameter about base, 1 1/4" tall) comes with the game and is intended to be placed at the center of the playing surface.

One game examined came with a mismatched assortment of colored squidgers and winks, made from a variety of materials including some of bone.
