The top label has a white outer border and blue line inner border. The general background is white.

At top left: "LA" above "PUCE" in black letters with blue outlines, which is above "DOMPTÉE" in blue letters with red shadows.

At top right: A game target (red outer border with curlicues) with nine hooks as targets, on a blue background. Each hook has a white circle above it with a black border. The top and bottom rows of hooks are marked 10, 75, and 10, and the center row is marked 25, 100, and 25, all in red.

The target is mounted on a 4 5/8" square piece of wood (1/4" thick) that has a shiny red underlabel plus a nonshiny bluish-purple square attached to the back.

The face of the target has a square label with a white outer border, speckled red pointy chevrons on the sides near each corner, and a blue design that is mostly circular but has feet-like protusions at top left, top right, bottom left, and bottom right. The left and right sides of the blue circle area has crossing thin V-shaped designs, with white interspersed with the blue. 9 numbered circles appear on the target, each numbered in red on a white circle that has a blue outline then a white outline on the blue circular background. The top row is numbered "10", "75", "10"; the middle row "25", "100", "25"; and the bottom row "10", "75", "10" again.A brass-colored metal hook is attached to the top of each circle on the target .

The publisher number, "1514" appears in red at lower left, at an angle.

"N. K." over "PARIS" in an oval with a circle on either side is shown at an angle at lower right.

One copy examined (copy 1) includes 1 squidger (1 1/8" in diameter) in dull green, of bone or another material. That copy also included quoits as winks (5/8" in diameter, 1/8" thick): 5 white, 1 yellow, and 1 purple (with coloring abraded from each side).
