Box unfolds to become game board, with a light brown background. Board is marked "SPIRA" at upper left and "CHASE" at upper right, at angles.

Race course is in green with black lanes and markings. It has its "START" at lower right, is straight for half the width heading to the left, and then it curves in a circle for around 300 degrees, after which it becomes straight to the left again above the start chute. The finish is marked "WINNING LINE".

There are four lanes, marked 1, 2, 3, and 4. Some of the squares have arrows leading to other squares, sometimes in a different lane. The course includes 4 fences included in the illustration, and two "WATER JUMP"s where a player will "MISS 1 TURN".

The roundabout aluminum move indicator carousel device sits in the "STAND ROUNDABOUT HERE" circle above center. It is silver in color other than a red, yellow, light blue, and green circle segments on top metal disc. Bottom metal disc has four similar segments, but instead of each segment being one color, each has 3 colors, for example: red and yellow on one side and blue on the other side of a segment. The move indicator has 4 horses hanging from the top disc and above the bottom disc; they are red, green, blue, and yellow. One presses on a spiral rod on the top of the move indicator to spin the horses.

The rules appear in vertical rectangles to left and right of center.
