The top label has a white outer border, then a blue border, then a thin red border, then a border with a yellow background with red rectangles on it. The background is red Inside those borders.
The title, "SPILLI-" (white, black outline, black mesh shadow down and to the right, horizontal) appears at upper left, and just below the "-", "WOBBLE (same appearance) appears on a slight up-curve to the upper right.
Below "SPI", a thin wreath of leaves (dull green with red highlights) with mesh red ties appears, with a yellow background circle within, on which "FUN," above "DEXTERITY" above "AND" above "SKILL" (all in black) appear.
Below "BLE", a similar wreath and yellow circle appear, on which "THE MORE" above "YOU LAUGH" above "THE MORE YOU" above "WOBBLE" appear.
The main cover illustration is shown between these two wreaths, It has a black and white single-checkered border, straight on all sides except concave down at top, and a pale green background. A boy (dark hair), which shirt, black tie) at left is looking down and to the right, and a girl (blonde hair, white blouse with black square outline around the neck) is at right, looking down. Each are holding a stick with a spring at end that has a magnet, with each magnet holding a ball. In front of each of them is a wooden contraption on which four springs and cup receptacles are mounted. Each aims to deposit a ball into one of the cup receptacles. Between the two contraptions is a box containing the balls.
At the bottom of the cover is a banner (black outer border, then white, then yellow) with a white background. "MAGNETIC" above "MIRTH" (red with black outline) appears on the banner. Two sticks with springs and magnets criss-cross over "MAGNETIC". Magnetism is depicted via red zigzag lines. Addition yellow zigzag lines appear bbehind "MIRTH".
"MADE IN ENGLAND" is shown at bottom center on the white outer border.
