The players divide into two parties or sides; one side plays as Batsmen and the other as Fielders. The Batsmen take the nine pieces and spin the dial in turn, first putting a man on the Batsman's space. The fielders do not spin until they become Batsmen. After each spin, the Batsmen must abide by the directions on the dial, and as fast as a Batsman becomes a base runner, they put a new man at bat. When three men are put out, the Fielders play as Batsmen. The best score at the bat in nine innings, wins the game.
A batter wearing a yellow/black-striped cap and shirt fills most of the cover; a green background appears across the center.
