The cover label has an outer offwhite border (sometimes clipped off), then a dark blue border, then offwhite, then another dark blue border. Each corner has 3 curved triangles in a design with a rounded inner border. The left apron is marked "FLIPS" and is attached to the cover label, but there are no other aprons attached to it.

The main cover art has a tan-offwhite background, with designs in each of the four corners that resembled an eye with lower eyelashes.

"NEW PARLOR GAME" (in black serifed font) appears at top on a concave-down baseline.

The title, "FLIPS" (in black) appears below, with each letter on a separate, nonoverlapping circle with a black circumference, representing a wink. "F" is on white, "L" on dark green, "I" on yellow, "P" on pink, and "S" on white.

A natural, shiny turned wooden cup (1 7/8" top diameter, concave sides, 1 7/16" bottom diameter).

Squidgers (1 5/16" diameter, bone): 1 red, 1 pink (broken into 2 pieces, 1 dull yellow, 1 white (with a missing chip).

Winks (11/16" diameter, bone): 6 red, 6 pink, 6 dull yellow, 6 white.
