The cover scene depicts William Tell (long black hair and beard; brown short-sleeved top with short dress, white leggings with straps around legs to shoes) using a crossbow to shoot an arrow at a boy (blonde hair, red top, short red shorts) standing on a hill with a red/green apple on top of his head.
5 men in various uniforms and armor are at left, with one (black/blue top, red hat) on a black horse. Some are holding metal spears.
"WILLIAM TELL" (black with white then gray outline) appears at lower right.
The backdrop consists of dramatic, tall mountains (blue and gray on their left sides, white and tan and light blue on their right sides).
Several buildings appear at center, several with orange roofs, and one a log cabin with evergreen trees behind.
2 short aprons: blue background with "WILLIAM TELL" in yellow.
2 long aprons: blue background with 7 apples, each with an arrow through it.
neural-style pattern with small pale teal shapes connected by pale teal lines on a dull teal background. About 18 such shapes aggregate into the appearance of a circle that repeats.
The target is a round piece of cardboard (8 3/4" in diameter) depicting a child (blonde hair, red short-sleeved top with yellow stripes at collar and cuffs, short red "dress", yellow leggings) standing up over a blue outer ring, white inside ring, and red interior circle. A natural piece of wood (1 3/4" by 1 3/4" by 3/4" is mounted in the center on the back, and has two diagonal holes at bottom and one diagonal hole at rear.
Two smaller pieces of natural wood (5/8" by 7/8" by 3/8") are at top rear, one attached to the top of the large round piece that shows the child on the other side, and the other attached to a smaller round piece of cardboard (2" in diameter) depicting a red/green apple on its front. These small pieces of wood are connected by a rubber band that allows the apple piece to be knocked down from the child's head.
The crossbow (red painted wood) consists of a wide shaft (3/4" in diameter, 4 1/2" long) that is flat at the front and rounded at rear. Mounted to it at front is the red lath (1/4" in diameter, 6" long). A rubber band is attached around the ends of the lath and over the main shaft. A hole (1/4" in diameter) goes through the main shaft from top to bottom near the lath.
3 yellow wooden rods (3/8" in diameter, 6 3/4" long) are inserted into the wood piece behind the round target depicting the child, used to allow it to stand up.
3 colored wooden rods (arrows) (3/16" in diameter, about 4 1/4" long with white suction cups) are inserted through the crossbow hole and connected to the rubber band via slots in the wooden end, thereby getting the arrow ready to shoot at the target.
